Should we debate what the word "genocide" means while thousands are slaughtered, raped, and pillaged? Where is our "Operation Enduring Freedom" spirit now?

Bush hits Iran for aid to al Qaeda - The Washington Times: Nation/Politics - July 20, 2004: "'What this president is doing is pursuing the threats that we face and confronting those threats before they have a chance to fully materialize, whether it's Iran, Iraq, North Korea or elsewhere,' press secretary Scott McClellan said. "

Looks like King George's faulty intelligence about Iraq was not faulty afterall. It was just a glitch in somebody's keyboard that turned N's into Q's. It was IraN that had the links to Al Qaeda, not IraQ.  Oops.

What McClellan meant to say was, "What this president is doing is pursuing the threats that we face and confronting those threats before they have a chance to fully materialize, whether it's Iran, Iraq, or some other country that starts with 'IRA'."

Apparently, nine of the nine-eleven crew passed through IraN at some point.  That's not as many as passed through US, but should give us good reason to test out some bunker-busters on 'em.  Just hope we don't apply the same reasoning to ourselves and start bombing here at home because they passed through our neighborhood too.

Good old fashion pre-emptive attacks. Hit anybody that looks at you funny. Look out IraN. You're next.

Online NewsHour: A Conversation with Former President Bill Clinton -- July 7, 2004
If you read any of this, read the part where he says, "there will be problems and bad people as long as the earth exists, and since we're moving into a completely interdependent global environment, we're better off building a world we'd like to live in when we're not the only military superpower. That is, we need to build a world of shared responsibility, shared benefits, and shared commitment to our common humanity."
